After his school days Lars entered the military service where he performed his military basic service for nine months within the Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guards), an infantry regiment of the Danish army. It wasn't the right choice for him and he began looking for something else after having completed it . He decided to go to college to study biology. Anette came back from a juggler's class and showed Lars just how much she could juggle in three days, despite the fact that Lars was already working for half of a year. Lars was very pleased with this and wanted to try it. So, he dropped out college and went to the juggler's academy. He also learned fire breathing and juggling. He then traveled with two of his friends throughout Europe performing as touring artists performing in cities like Paris, Munich and Moscow. He came across a circus for children in the next year and was able to master both street theatre and children's theater as and pantomime.
