Vinita Nair

She joined ABC News July 2004, and has reported on many topics including investigations like the Jon Benet Ramsey investigation, and school shootings near Bailey, Colorado. Nair was promoted to ABC News anchor/correspondent in December 2007 for ABC News Now. As part of her role as a reporter, she delivered live reports and briefings to ABC's network. Nair also served as a co-anchor of World News Now, America This Morning, and ABC's online network, which ran starting on September 17th, from 2008 until February 18, 2011. She was partnered with Jeremy Hubbard and later Rob Nelson in both shows. Nair announced to the viewers of World News Now that she would not be appearing in World News Now after Friday 18th February. She announced that her last day at ABC News would be Friday on February 18. Peggy Bunker from KDVR Denver was immediately her successor. In all three parts of World News Now's February 18 program, Nair was honored by current and past colleagues such including Jeremy Hubbard. In her final morning the crew was treated by Nair to breakfast that was delicious. Vinita Vinita Vinita Vinita
