Kolber is a native of Pennsylvania she earned her master's degree at the University of Miami. In New York City, she was hired as an CBS Sports Video Coordinator. She won the Sports Emmy for her work at WTVJ-TV Miami. She has also worked as a reporter at WPLG-TV Miami as well as WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. In 1993 she joined ESPN and was chosen as one of the primary anchors for ESPN2 at the time it launched that year. In the following three years, she resigned from ESPN2 and joined Fox Sports. In 1999, she was re-admitted to ESPN and is currently the host for 'Monday Night Countdown'.
