Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani Peruvian Muay thai fighter, mixed martial artist, and competing within the UFC flyweight division. She is the older sister of the fellow UFC fighter and former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko started her professional career as an Muay Thai kickboxer. Her debut was in 2003, at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner at the event and beat Suzane Milliner with a unanimous verdict. Antonina kept her winning streak going by getting bronze and silver medal in 2008 and 2007 respectively, a Gold medal in 2011 along with the title of 2015 IFMA amateur Muay Thai world champion. Antonia began her professional journey back in 2003. She has taken home numerous championships, including the World WKC K-1 Light Welterweight Championships the Lion Fight Lightweight World Championships as well as the WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships. Antonina was last seen fighting Isa Tidblad Keskikangas during her fight at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She was victorious by an unanimous vote. Antonina Schevchenko started career-long MMA career in 2002 after an impressive win against Anara Baanova in the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan. She won the fight in the second round by TKO and also won her subsequent 2 fights in the WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003 to amass an overall record of 3-1. Shevchenko took a break from MMA to focus on kickboxing. She returned to the ring in a fight against Anissa Haddaoui in Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa by unanimous decision before she fought Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She left in 2018 the contest and started participating in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina utilized superior strikes and striking skills to TKO Nievera by knees to her body during the final clinch. After this win, Antonina was able to sign the chance to sign a UFC contract. Antonina Shevchenko debuted in UFC during the TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting match against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko won the unanimous decision, but was defeated in her next fight by Roxanne Modafferi via the split decision. Antonina rebounded from the defeat, and won Lucie Prudilova's fight in UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler with a rear naked choke. It was the top fight of the night for the fight. Shevchenko was defeated by Katlyn and Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She fought Ariane Lipski but she was also defeated by Ariane. Antonina has been defeated recently by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos-Walker.
